Financial Assistance
At the core of the Middlebury Ski & Snowboard Club mission is the commitment to promote skiing, support young skiers and riders in an environment that promotes their skill development, positive social interaction, and personal excellence. The MSSC is committed to developing resources to support initiatives that promote inclusivity and the accessibility of skiing and snowboarding to ensure that these opportunities are available to all that are interested. Thanks to generous contributions from our community, the MSSC can set aside 10% of its budget each year to provide aid to those who need it.
The MSSC Financial Assistance Program was established to ensure that the many costs (e.g., registration fee, membership fees, ski pass, equipment/gear, enhanced training experiences (only on-snow training camps between November - end of winter season are eligible), etc.) involved with alpine skiing and riding would not be a limiting factor to an athlete’s participation in the sport. This program is administered by the program director and the executive members of the MSSC board of directors. There is a high level of confidentiality surrounding the scholarship process and we fully respect your privacy.
The application deadline was October 20th. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed by the scholarship committee prior to registration deadline (December 1). If scholarship funds remain available, families will be contacted directly about awards. Scholarship funds may not cover the full request. If you are interested in financial assistance at this time, please email director@middleburyskiandsnowboardclub.org.
Families receiving aid are required to complete the volunteer commitments of the program.
If you have questions while completing the form, please feel free to contact us at director@middleburyskiandsnowboardclub.org.
